Why we started
We’re not a huge team, but nearly everyone at Filmmaker Live has had a hand in film. We’ve all seen and experienced where the bottlenecks are in filmmaking. We knew there had to be a better way to plan, make decisions, and quickly share a vision with the team, cast, and investors.
We developed Filmmaker Live to make it easier to pitch projects and get projects made, to help Filmmakers make better decisions faster. Every day at work we know we are making a difference, because we are solving the very problems we’ve experienced, so you will no longer need to.

We developed Filmmaker Live to help everyone that has made or thought about making a film of any length. We want to make it easier to tell your story, get that story to others, and Share your Vision.
The change is coming; we want to be a part of it.
We believe filmmaking starts long before you go into production. We believe the more you plan your film the better you can use your time in production and the better your film will be. And with Filmmaker Live, you can make those decisions and share your vision before you’ve actually made your film. We knew getting the right tools into the hands of filmmakers will help get more films made and get more films viewed. That is why we go to work every day.

Who we are
It started with a phone call between an ex-Disney software developer and an award-winning filmmaker. Today we have a team, who in addition to their day jobs of building and delivering Filmmaker Live, write screenplays, have shot and directed films, optioned and sold scripts, and continue making films and empowering other filmmakers.
